On the list of makeup trends for 2009, glowing skin was one that I was glad to see. I don’t know if I can truly say that it’s a trend because glowing skin is always a good thing, no matter what time of year. If your skin glows, people notice whether it’s hot outside or snowing heavily. I wanted to post a video about how to achieve the constantly sought after glowing skin, but as I reviewed a few of them I realized that the overall process varies per person and can be very long and drawn out. I didn’t want to intimidate you by posting a 10 minute video featuring all of these different types of products that may or may not work on your skin. So after doing some research, I narrowed it down to two basic essentials.

Exfoliation and moisture.

In order to make your skin look better and work toward the glow, you should exfoliate once a week and moisturize daily. Now you may be wondering what types of products are needed to do this. I’m going to continue to do some research and see if I can find some recommendations of exfoliation products and moisturizers for different skin types. If you have anything that you use that works, please share! Since I have dry, sensitive skin, I can definitely offer suggestions from that side, but I want to offer real life testimonials from other skin types as well. If you have a testimonial you’d like to share, send me a message in the comments.
